How it works

Bringing home a Muzzbecatz kitten takes six simple steps. Here is exactly what happens and what it costs.

  1. Say hello. Send us a message through the contact form. Tell us a little about your home and the kitten you’re hoping for.
  2. Choose a kitten or join the waitlist. If a kitten on the available kittens page is a match, we’ll talk it through. If not, we’ll add you to the waitlist for an upcoming litter.
  3. Reserve with a $200 deposit. The deposit holds your kitten and is non-refundable.
  4. Watch your kitten grow. [PLACEHOLDER: do families get photo or video updates while they wait? How often?]
  5. Pay the balance. The rest of the price is due when your kitten goes home.
  6. Go-home day at 12 weeks. Your kitten is spayed or neutered, vaccinated and vet-checked. Pick up in person, or choose one of our delivery and shipping options.

What’s included with every kitten

  • Age-appropriate vaccinations
  • Deworming
  • Health certificate
  • TICA registration papers
  • Spay or neuter before going home

Health

Our breeding cats are tested for HCM (hypertrophic cardiomyopathy) and PKD (polycystic kidney disease).

[PLACEHOLDER: health guarantee. What does it cover, for how long, and what does the buyer need to do (for example, a vet visit within a set number of days)?]

Our contract

Every family signs a short contract before go-home day. The main terms are:

  • Your cat lives indoors only.

[PLACEHOLDER: the rest of the contract terms. For example: no declawing, the cat comes back to us if you can’t keep it, never sold to pet shops. Link a PDF of the contract here if you want it public.]
